Jerrilyn Patton alias Jlin est une productrice et DJ originaire de l’Indiana. Sa musique est fortement inspirée du footwork, un genre, ainsi qu’une danse de rue de Chicago. Sa musique est définissable par ses rythmes mutants, faits de saccades et de coupures. Elle est signée sur le célèbre label Planet Mu.

Björk était présente lors de son set au Sonar à Reykjavik en Mars 2018.
There was Björk raving to Jlin in a mask, and the Aurora Borealis (AKA Northern Lights), which were active and visible over the harbour. I also won’t forget the sight of hundreds of Icelanders singing happy birthday to US rapper Danny Brown.

HEBA : Did you drive with her in the Land Rover ? We worked out of her cabin which is overlooking this beautiful glacial lake. I got picked up from the airport and went straight to the country. She has this Land Rover that’s stick shift, and the country terrain is really rough ; it’s a bit of a bumpy ride. She blasts really loud music. She got me into Jlin.
