Fossora sortira le 30 septembre : pochette, tracklist et précommande

Dans un comnuniqué, Björk annonce la sortie de son 10^e album Fossora pour le 30 septembre. La pochette de l’album a été imaginée par Björk et James Merry, elle a été shooté par Vidar Logi et le tout mis en image avec une typographie par M/M Paris.

L’album est prévu en différents formats et il est déjà disponible en précommande.

En résumé, en plus d’un sextet de clarinettes basse et de gros beat disséminés en fin de titre, il faut s’attendre à deux duos avec Serpentwithfeet et la norvégienne Emilie Nicolas, la participation de ses enfants, toujours des cordes (avec le siggi string quartet ensemble), la participation de la chorale de Cornucopia sur le poème islandais de Látra-Björg (Fagurt Er í Fjörðum / Les fjords sont magnifiques) et la participation de la percussionniste Soraya Nayyar.

L’album a été mixé par Heba Kadry qui avait également travaillé sur Utopia, on retrouve également les flutistes de viibraa. Björk a également ressorti de cette période le titre Allow, co-écrit avec Arca et finalement non publié.

it is a word i made up
it is the feminine of fossore ( digger, delver, ditcher )
so in short it means "she who digs" ( into the ground )
so sonically it is about bass , heavy bottom-end ,
we have 6 bass clarinets and punchy sub
