this mask is a new remix of an earlier design, inspired by moths and their beautiful antennae.
the first version was an embroidered headpiece for the vulnicura tour and then i made some hybrid wire and textile versions for the #notget music video, where it was also translated into the digital realm for the VR video.
this new gold update is the final form… cut from one continuous piece of brass and hand sculpted & polished by me at my studio in iceland.James T Merry
