L’Utopia Bird Call boxset est une version ultra deluxe de l’album Utopia. Tout le contenu audio, vidéo et photo est disponible sur une clef usb accompagnée de 14 appeaux en bois de la société française "Quelle est belle company". Le tout est regroupé dans un coffret en plexiglas conçu par M/M Paris. D’après une idée de Hugo Reymond.
Les appeaux reproduisent le chant de 14 oiseaux : la mésange bleue, le rouge-gorge, la sittelle torchepot, le rouge queue à front blanc, le faisan, le pinson des arbres, la mésange charbonnière, le merle, le chevalier gambette, le chardonneret élégant, la mouette rieuse, le hibou moyen-duc, le vanneau huppé et l’étourneau.

utopia is so much about birdsong and sonically the mutation between synth/bird , bird/flute , flute/synth ....... air like that was a theme through all of the album . so i got very excited when i found these handmade wooden flutes imitating precisely particular birds . and i guess wanted you guys to have an opportunity to share that with me ........ enjoy !!! warmthness

When the album came out, I fantasised about having a special edition with birdcalls, like the ones my grandmother offered me when I was a child. I was so enthusiastic that I suggested the idea to her team and put them in contact with “Quelle Est Belle”, François Morel’s company, a french craftsman who has been creating birdcalls since he was 6. It was already his birdcalls that I had as a kid. Björk loved the idea and they made it, M/M (Paris) did a wonderful job on the boxset design, it’s a stunning edition !
